Ellis Menzo Nestell, 76, died Jan. 6, 1990, after a lengthy illness, at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy.
Mr. Ellis was born March 10, 1913 in Bellaire to James and Libbie Nestell. He resided in both Kalkaska and Rochester Hills after retiring in 1975 from Associated Truck Lines after 23 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Eleanor; three sons, James, Robert, and Richard; four sisters; LaVena Corcoran of Hazel Park, Helen Janes of Sterling Heights, LaVera James and Margaret Springstead of Kalkaska; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services were held Jan 10, 1990 at Potere-Modetz Funeral Home in Rochester, Mich. Burial was at Mount Avon in Rochester.
