Elizabeth Williams, 79, passed away at a local hospital this morning following a long illness. She was born at Cheboygan in 1871 but spent most of her life in the Grand Traverse region. Her husband and two sons preceded her in death.
Left to mourn their loss are one daughter, Mrs. R.F. Maney of Mt. Pleasant, two sons, Charles of Manistee and Bert who resides in this city. Also many other relatives and friends.
Private funeral services will be held at the Hibbard Chapel at 3 o’clock Fri afternoon and burial will be in the family lot at Oakwood Cemetery. Dr. Howard Towne will be in charge of the services.
