Edward P. Morris, 73, of Kalkaska, died Saturday, Feb 2, 1991, at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Morris moved to Kalkaska in April from Ann Arbor. He was a former resident of Dearborn. He attended Henry Ford Community College, and was a graduate of the University of Detroit. He worked as the controller of the Nelson Company in Royal Oak prior to his retirement in 1977. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, and enjoyed photography and golf.
Mr. Morris was born in Detroit on Oct 25, 1917 to Walter and Sophia Schumanske Morris.
Surviving are one brother, John R. Morris of McMillan; one sister, Irene Dew of Kalkaska; and several nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
One sister, Helen Morris, preceded him in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, Feb 4, 1991, at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring.
A scripture service was held Sunday at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska.
