Spanish War Veteran summoned by death, Winchester.
Ed Lafferty, BO, of 614 North Main Street died here this morning about 5 o’clock after long illness. He was a Veteran of the Spanish-American War and had served five years in the regular army. He is survived by his mother and one sister, Eliza Lafferty of this city. Funeral services will be held at 8 o’clock Tuesday morning at the Catholic Church here in charge of the Kv. Father Durham, Union City. Burial in Fountain Park Cemetery.
