Edward F. Themm, 79 of Kingsley, passed away Saturday at home.
Born Sept. 7, 1920 in Marlette, Mich., he was the son of John and Ida Marie (Minser) Themm. He married Lena May Newmarch.
A former General Motors Corp. employee in Pontiac, Edward retired in 1973 after 35 years of service. He moved to Kingsley from Pontiac in 1974. He was a member of the Fife Lake Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and of the Grand Traverse United Auto Workers in Traverse City. Edward enjoyed spending time on the family farm in Kingsley and being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter in law, Jean Themm of Cadillac; four grandchildren, Edward Themm III (Diane DeLoy) of Grawn, Mary Smith of Northport, FL, Barb (Bruce) Nolan of Grove City, FL, and George Themm of Cadillac;
