Edward D Kleehammer, 59, of Fife Lake, passed away peacefully Nov 6, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. 

Edward was born in Grayling Mar 17, 1941 to Edward and Mildred (Fryhover) Kleehammer. 

Edward served with the US Military and was a disabled veteran. He was a member of Kalkaska Moose Lodge No 2348 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. 

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn; mother Mildred (Millie) Frydel of Kalkaska; sister Helen (Lawton) Hall of South Boardman; daughters Dawn (Matt) Hickman of Fife Lake and Terry Kleehammer of Warren; sons Jeffrey Kleehammer of Chesterfield Township, Willard (Holly) Kleehammer of Traverse City, Chris (Sandy) Kleehammer of Chesterfield Township, Duane (Kelly) Kleehammer of Ray Township; very dear friend Tim Abramczyk of Kalkaska; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father Edward A Kleehammer. 

Funeral services were held Nov 11 at St Paul Lutheran Church in Kalkaska. Rev. Ted Turanski officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
