Mrs. Edith Clark, 79, of Sand Lake, formerly of South Boardman, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Fri, Mar 7, 2003. 

Her parents, Lewis and Nora Belle (Kirk) Schelske, lived in Muskegon where she was born Apr 2, 1923. Crocheting and embroidering were her hobbies. She was a Godly lady and prayer warrior after accepting Christ as a young person. She attended Victory Baptist Church in South Boardman, and recently the Church of Full Gospel in Sand Lake. Her children were taught Christian values, and scrubbed and shined for church every Sunday.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, Kenneth and Barbara Clark, Karl and Linda Clark, all of Nebraska; Maxine and Leon Pearson, Donna and Paul Reed all of Sand Lake; and Cheryl and Jeff Prentice of South Boardman; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; her brother and sisters, Floyd Schelske of Lapeer, Anna Belle Oswald of Mesa, AZ, Edna and Gene Baker of Brookport, IL, and Eva and DeLloyed Bailey of Jackson; nieces and nephews; sisters in law, Mrs. Gladys Cross of Kalkaska and Mrs. Beulah McClure of Glendale, AZ. 

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband Floyd R Clark; an infant son; her brothers, Albert Schelske, Merlin Schelske, Ernest Schelske, Melvin Schelske; and a great granddaughter, Cassidy Christian Reed. 

The service for Mrs. Clark was held Tue, Mar 11, 2003, at the Pederson Funeral Home, Rockford, with Pastor Verda Giddings officiating. Interment will be in Garfield Township Cemetery.
