Dorothy May Clark, 87, of Kalkaska, was called home to be with her Lord and her husband of fifty years Maurice (Morrie) on Saturday, September 27, 2014. After retiring from Manton Industries, Dorothy worked as a volunteer for many years at the long term care facility at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center, was a senior companion, and was very involved in the local TOPS program. For most of her adult life she was actively involved at the Fife Lake Baptist Church. Dorothy is survived by her three sons: Keith (Rosalie) Clark of Ada, James of Alaska, and Randy (Pam) of Kingsley; fourteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; three sisters: Betty (Myron) Blake of Kalkaska, Louise (Dick) Norma and Jeanie (Joe) Badtierrey, both of Florida; and her brother Ken Haskin of Marne. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Edith (Barber) Haskin, her husband Maurice, two brothers Albert and Raymond, and great grandson Colton. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Kalkaska Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. With final visitation beginning at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Kalkaska Funeral Home on Thursday, October 2, 2014. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery in Fife Lake. Arrangements were entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
