Dorothy "Martha" Aldridge, of Clio, age 84, died Monday, June 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the chapel at Flint Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Martha was born on the farm in Clio on August 26, 1928 to the late Samuel and Sharin (Oshana) Esse. She was a Clio resident her entire life. Martha was a 1947 graduate of Clio High School. She married Wilber Aldridge on July 29, 1950. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2003. Mrs. Aldridge retired from AC with over 20 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #651. She enjoyed playing Keno. Surviving are: daughter, Toni Bieber of Flint; grandson, Rodney Bieber of Flint; 3 great grandsons, Bradley, Kody and Jordan Bieber; brother, Samuel E. Esse, Jr. of Clio; sisters, Frances Caine of Geneseeville, Sarah Warda of CA; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: son in law, Gary Bieber; sisters, Esther Koshaba, Helen Lazar and Marian Langley; nephew, Daniel J. Lazar, Jr.; and niece, June Lazar.
