Graveside services were held Wed, Dec 4, for Mrs. Dorothy E. Hilgendorf of Harper Woods, MI, at Elmwood Cemetery, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, with the Rev. R.C. Puffer officiating. Mrs. Hilgendorf, 58, succumbed Saturday. She was the wife of Chris Hilgendorf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pond, former Grayling residents. Besides her husband, one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Robbins survives. Funeral services were held Dec 3 at the Roy J. Kaul Funeral Home, St. Clair Shores. Mrs. Hilgendorf was a former Grayling resident. She died in a Detroit area hospital on Saturday.
