Donnie "Angry Beaver" Ramsey, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Thu, Mar 1, 2012. He was born on Jul 12, 1958 in Traverse City to Howard Junior and Grace Louise (Sizemore) Ramsey.
For the last eight years, Donnie worked as a roustabout in the oil fields for Bengal Industries. He was an avid pool player, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. Donnie loved spending time with and teasing the grandchildren and family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved taking them to the racetrack and demolition derbies. Donnie's great sense of humor and love for family and friends will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his dear bother, Grace L. (AJ) Curry of Kalkaska; his loving children, Kristal May (Korey) Borgen of Mancelona, Misty Sue (Ryan) Groleau of Cadillac, and Amber Marie Huddleston of KY; his cherished grandchildren, Kailey Groleau, Jackalynn Borgen, Topher Borgen, and Mr. Wiggles; and his dear brother and sisters, Ron "Savage" (Kelly) Ramsey of Grayling, Deb D. (Frank) Barnes of Racine, WI, and Susie R. (Ron) cooper of Boyne City.
Donnie was preceded in death by his father Howard Junior Ramsey.
Visitation for Donnie was held Sun, Mar 4, 2012 from 5 to 8 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. Funeral services were Mon, Mar 5, at 2 pm at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the service with Pastor Greg Wolfe of the Kalkaska United Methodist Church officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
