Donald O. Saunders, 65, of Fife Lake, died Wed, Jul 23, 1997, at Gentle Care A.F.C. Home in Fife Lake.
Mr. Saunders resided in the Harrison area until 10 years ago when he moved to Fife Lake. He had been employed by General Motors in Flint prior to his retirement. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the V.F. W. He enjoyed working on small engines.
Mr. Saunders was born in Genesee County on Feb 27, 1932, to Charles and Reba (Lozier) Saunders.
Surviving are brothers, Martin Saunders of Hale and Robert Saunders of Fife Lake; sisters, Violet Farrell of Fife Lake and Ester Stormes of FL; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Thomas Saunders, preceded him in death.
Services will be held at a later time, with burial in Cleon Township Cemetery at Copemish. Arrangements by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
