Donald H Allen, 58, of Kalkaska, died Nov 6, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Allen was born in Detroit May 16, 1942, to Robert and Anita (Fitzgerald) Allen.
Prior to moving to Kalkaska, Mr. Allen resided in Clinton Township.
He was a retired plumber and a member of Plumbers Local 98 in Detroit. he was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Sons of Amvets, the Moose Lodge, Jefferson Lodge No 553, F and AM, the Shrine and the American Legion.
Surviving are son Jason Allen of Detroit; daughters Donna (Michael) Stapleton of Grosse Pointe Woods, and Laura Allen of Chesterfield Township; brother Herman T Allen of Michigan, sister Ruth of Detroit; and granddaughter Mackenzie Stapleton.
His sister Florence preceded him in death.
Memorial services were held Nov 11, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Tim Chickering officiated.
