Donald D. Fish, 79, of Fife Lake, died Monday, June 18, 1990. at the V.A. Medical Center in Ann Arbor.
Mr. Fish moved to Fife Lake 12 years ago from Willis, Texas. He graduated from South Bend High School, and attended Notre Dame University. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1947, attaining the rank of Captain. Following his release from the service, he operated a credit union, and worked as a real estate salesman. Mr. Fish enjoyed golf, football and reading.
He was born in Rochester, Indiana on April 26, 1911, to Dr. Clyde and Lulu Fish. He was married on May 18, 1977, to Madeline Banks who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Donald B. Fish of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two stepsons, Mark Harris of Conroe, Tex. and Thomas Keffer of Kingsley; one stepdaughter, Carolyn Ritter of Ann Arbor; one brother, Dr. James C. Fish of Celinas, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 22, 1990 at the Fife Lake United Methodist Church. Rev. Gary Wales officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kingsley.
