Delbert Tom “Barney” Barnhart of Otisville, age 68, died Friday, May 23, 2003 at Hurley Medical Center. There will be no visitation or service. Barney was born in Flint, Michigan on June 18, 1934. He married Adeline Haskell on June 20, 1959. He served in the U.S. Army. Barney was employed for 33 years with Chevrolet Truck and Bus retiring in 1990. Surviving are wife, Adeline; 3 children, Angie Pierson of Otisville, Michael and wife Lynne of Clio, Suzanne and husband John Bradford of Flint; 7 grandchildren, Nicole and Kasey Pierson, Branden, Katie, and Kiley Barnhart, Joshua Barnhart and Nick Nick; brother, Joel and wife Gloria of Flint; sister, Rosemary and husband, C.C. Faith of Davison; many special nieces and nephews; special friends, Mary and Chuck McNally; aunt Joyce and uncle Paul Wolf; special pet, Missy Roo. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Charlotte Crossnoe.
