Delbert R. Buchner, Sr., 54, of Fife Lake, died at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Thursday, June 24, 1971.
Mr. Buchner was born November 1, 1916 at Morley. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Symonds, whom he married June 26, 1940 in Mason; two sons, Delbert Jr., of Grand Rapids; and Michael of Rapid City; seven daughters, Mrs. David (Geraldine) See of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Robert (Beth Ann) Cummer of Fife Lake, Mrs. Jerome (Delores) See of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Daniel (Rosemarie) Burwell of Fife Lake, Kathy, Christine and Janet all at home; and two brothers Fred of Newaygo and Louis of Lake Ann.
Mr. Buchner had been a resident of Kalkaska area for the past 22 years. He retired from the L.E. Myers Co in 1967.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 27, 1971 at 2 p.m. from the Schwartz-Wolfe Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Wetzig officiating. Burial was made in Springfield Township Cemetery, Fife Lake.
