Delbert G. Maloney, 53, of Owosso, died Friday morning, May 4, 1990, at his home.
He was born in Ann Arbor, Jan. 25, 1937, to Charles G. and Lillian (Courser) Maloney. He married Nancy Jean Dupuis in Rochester on Aug. 14, 1957 who survives.
Mr. Maloney served eight years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by A.C. Spark Plug, Div. of General Motors in Flint for the past 12 years and had previously owned Mike-O-Val Construction, specializing in home building. He was a member of Flint UAW and was an avid hunter.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Linda) Waterbury of Owosso; two sons: Charles D. (Elizabeth) and Michael D. (Brenda) Maloney, both of Owosso; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Maloney of Kalkaska; two sisters: Mrs. Jack (Donna Jean) Quinn and Nada Miotke, both of Utica; three brothers: Edwin L. of Clarkston, Norman of Frankfort, and Ronald of Kalkaska; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Jennings-Lyons Chapel on Monday, May 7 and burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso.
