Debra Lee Thayer, age 59, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Mon, Nov 9, 2009. She is survived by her children, Kelly and Jason Lantzer, Jill and Jeremy Lake, Niel and Nicole Watters; grandchildren, Madalyn, Emily, and Avery Lantzer; Lakota and Ethan Lake; mother Barbara Thayer; sister, Donna and Denny Kruisenga; brothers, Bill and Deborah Thayer, Ed and Jan Thayer; uncle, Harry White; and several nieces and nephews. Deb celebrated life enjoying family, friends, the beach, and collecting sea shells. She left us as a true free spirit. A Memorial Visitation to celebrate Deb’s life will be held Friday from 1 pm to 3 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave, SE, Kentwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the needs of the family.
