Dawn A. Loose, 82, of Torch Lake, in Clearwater Township, Kalkaska County, died Sat, Nov 5, 2011 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Wilma (Catt) Sheasley.
Dawn married her devoted husband William "Bill" Loose on Jan 22, 1949 in Anderson, IN and they celebrated 63 years together this year at their residence on Torch Lake. She was a model Servant-Giver to her family. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, to whom she was totally devoted. She was a wonderful hostess and great cook. She loved music, reading and poetry, especially from her husband Bill!
Dawn is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bill; her children, Jody Loose-Chambers of Elk Rapids, William Russell (Nan) Loose of Rapid City, Jamy K Loose, also of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Andrew, Becky, Andria, Michelle, Curtis, Lonny, Jocelyn, and Sophia; and her great grandchildren, Aria and Lyra-Dawn Jordensen, Luci and Millie James, and Ada and Janna Pharo. She is also survived by her brothers Warren Sheasley and Rondald Catt.
Besides her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Joel Chambers.
A memorial service for Dawn will be held Sat, Nov 12, 2011 at 4 pm with visitation beginning at 3:30 at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
