David W. “Bill” Jones, 67, died Thu at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he retired from Food Marketing warehouse in 1993 after 29 ½ years.
He was an Air Force veteran and past president of Allen County Amateur Radio Technical Society.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy M; three sons, David W. Jr, and Douglas B, both of Fort Wayne, and Dirk A. of Dallas; a brother, Willard M of Fremont; and four grandchildren.
Services at 11 am Tue at Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Ave, with calling an hour before services. Calling also from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Mon at Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd.
Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
