In Memory of
David Wayne Snyder

BIRTH: 12 Jun 1959 Traverse City, Grand Traverse, Michigan

DEATH: 14 Mar 2023 Kalkaska, Kalkaska, Michigan

David Wayne Snyder, 63, of Kalkaska, passed into eternal life on Tue, Mar 14, 2023 surrounded by his family. David was born on Jun 12, 1959 to Harold and Deloris (Williams) Snyder. His early years were spent in Fife Lake where he made many cherished, lifelong friends. He loved being outdoors, finding good deals, working on anything (other than plumbing), spending time with family and friends, and going fast. He may not have had a lot of years in his life but there was a tremendous amount of life and love in his years! David married Debbie (Hart) on May 11, 2002 and together they lived their wedded vows for almost 21 years. The Lord blessed them with two beautiful children, Allison and Dawson. They were absolutely his pride and joy. He never was happier than he was when spending time with his babies. For many years David enjoyed being an active member of the Great Lakes Antique Tractor Club and riding his old Ford tractor across the Mackiniac Bridge each year. He also enjoyed sharing with his wife and kids, becoming a yearly vacation for them. David’s faith and love for the Lord have brought us all so much peace and comfort and his family is forever grateful to our church families at Kalkaska Baptist Church and Lake City Assembly of God. His salvation, baptism, and giving his life to the Lord is the best gift he’s ever given his family. David is survived by his loving wife Debbie; daughter, Allison; son, Dawson; sisters Lorie (Steve) Stacy of Fife Lake and Fern Snyder of Florida; many nieces and nephews; mother in law, Gloria (Lonnie) Murphy; brothers in law; sisters in law, and friends. The family would like to extend many heartfelt thank-yous to all of our family, friends, neighbors, and strangers who have given so much love and support. A funeral service will take place at Kalkaska Funeral Home on Thu, Mar 16, 2023 at 4 pm. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3 to 4 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
