David H Dailey, 72, of Kalkaska, passed away on Mon, Oct 22, 2007, at his home in Kalkaska.
He was born in Royal Oak on Nov 12, 1934, to the late Ellis and Ellamay (Roney) Dailey. David married Katherine Jean Rutenbar in Farmington on Jun 2, 1953. Together they had one daughter, Brenda. In 1972, the Dailey's moved to Kalkaska.
David retired from Kalkaska Screw Products in 1997, and recently worked parttime for the Traverse City Record Eagle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. It was very important to David that he and his daughter spend time together, usually bowling. He loved being around his grandsons.
Preceding David in death are his parents; and his brother, Frederick Dailey.
David is survived by his wife of 54 years, Katherine; his daughter, Brenda J (Richard) Anderson of Kalkaska; brothers, Ellis (Marie) Dailey of New Haven, Edward Dailey of Grand Rapids, Thomas Dailey of CA, and Paul (Linda) Dailey of Pontiac; and his grandsons, David Allen Anderson and Timothy James Anderson of Kalkaska.
A memorial service was held Sat, Oct 27, 2007, at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska.
