Cleo M Miller, 76, of Kalkaska died Thu, Aug 2, 2001, in Kalkaska.
Mrs. Miller was born in Garfield Township on Jul 18, 1925, daughter of the late Daniel and Laura (Sides) Hatley. On Sep 28, 1945, she married Clesson "Jap" Miller.
She worked for Michigan Social Services and retired in Jul of 1985 after 24 years of service. She was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ and Charter Member of the Eve Club.
Surviving are her husband, Jap, of Kalkaska, daughters, Vickie (William) Wakefield of Wixom, Kathy (Charles) Whited of Holt, Laura "Janie" (Michael) Comai of Kalkaska; brother, Jerry (Marcella) Hatley of Kalkaska; sisters, Alice Bair of Lansing, and Ruah (John) Kimball of Kalkaska; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son Douglas Duane in 1959, brothers Wilbur and Edwin, and sister Thelma Kimball.
Funeral services were Aug 4 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E Dan Johnson, pastor of Kalkaska Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
