Charles W. Dunn, 79, of Traverse City, died Thursday evening, Oct 4, 1990, at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital.
Mr. Dunn lived in Fostoria until 1972 when he moved to Rapid City. He has lived in Traverse City since 1982. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Dunn worked as a lift-truck driver for General Motors in Flint. He enjoyed fishing and garage sales.
He was born in Lapeer on March 14, 1911 to Jasper and Mary Horton Dunn. On Aug 10, 1953, in Ovid, he was married to Ivabelle Louchart who died on April 2, 1982.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel Dunn of Traverse City and Jerry Dunn of Rapid City; four daughters, Judith Day and Nancy Wilson, both of Mancelona, Kathy Mitchell of Olympia, Wash., and Linda Rowe of Kalkaska; 23 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Two sons, David and Charles and two granddaughters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct 6, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Pat Moore, pastor of Riverside Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
