Charles R. “Bud” Hornbaker, 62, 418 E Chestnut, died Saturday in Blackford County Hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Blackford County.
Mr. Hornbaker was retired from Blackford County School Corp. and had also worked 37 years at Marhoefer Packing Co, Muncie. He was a member of Blackford Baptist Temple.
Surviving are his wife, Betty D. Adams Hornbaker; three daughters, Linda Garrett and Kay Owens, both of Hartford City, and Rita Good, Jonesboro; his mother, Edith M Fuller Hornbaker, Hartford City; two brothers, James Hornbaker Jr., Hartford City, and Jack L, Warsaw, and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 am Tue in Keplinger Funeral Home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery. Calling hours are 3 to 9 pm today in the funeral home.
