Charles Walker, age 44, of Marlette, MI passed away at his home with family by his side, Thu, Apr 7, 2022.
Charles was born in Detroit, MI on Apr 13, 1977. He graduated from Marlette High School with the class of 1996. He attended Bethel College and the University of Michigan where he was working on his Theology Degree. Charles worked as a call center supervisor for Express Scripts. He was married Jul 28, 2017 to Jennifer Wilson at the Second Presbyterian Church. Charles was a member of the Marlette Lions Club. He was a devoted member of Life Song Church. Charles enjoyed singing, classical music, the Detroit Tigers and reading his Bible. He loved volunteering and was involved in the Men’s Encounter Ministry Group. Charles was a devoted family man with a quick wit, and a love for the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Jennifer Walker; parents, William and Connie Walker; children, Anna (Zach) Smith and Christopher Ray Walker; grandson, Cayden Smith; brother, William Walker; sister, Sheree (Tim) Canfield; Uncle Stan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charles was preceded in death by his grandparents; Rosemary and Bob; grandparents, John and Irene Boven; and uncle, Paul.
A graveside service will be held Wed, Apr 13, 2022 at 11 am at Marlette Cemetery with Pastor Mike Smith to preside.
A luncheon will follow at Lifesong Church, 5208 Sanilac Rd, Snover, MI 48472.
