Charles Duane Wilkinson, a resident of Kalkaska and a longtime employee of Northern A-1 Services, passed away Apr 13, 1999, at the age of 45. He was born in Sandusky to Joseph and Della (Owen) Wilkinson.
On Jun 24, 1978, he was united in marriage to Janice Hoig in Marlette.
Charles was an avid sportsman. He also enjoyed hockey and football. He was a member of the 1998-99 Senior Hockey C League and played for Critter Control in Traverse City.
He is surviving by his wife Janice, sons Jeremy (Cheri) and Nathan (Angel); daughter Ashley; brothers Mike Wilkinson of Kalkaska, Kevin Wilkinson of Marlette, Jim Wilkinson of Florida, Gary Wilkinson of NC, and Larry Denzer of Flint; sisters Sally Willis of Kalkaska, Cindy Wilkinson and Beverly Navarro of Marlette, Patty Pylka of Minnesota, Connie Trask of South Carolina, Sue Wilkinson of Texas and Diane Spraque of Alma.
He was preceded in death by mother Della and brother Joseph.
Funeral services were April 17 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Mark McCool officiated.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
