Carolyn Marie Tisch, 57, passed away on Fri, Mar 17, 2017, at Magnum Care of Adrian, MI. She was born on Oct 22, 1959 in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Gerald L and Patricia V (Lanning) Tisch. As a state certified nurse assistant specializing in home health care, Carolyn always took loving care of others. This passion continued even as she became a patient in the nursing home by helping her fellow residents. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Paul Tisch (Brandilee Johnson); three grandchildren: Timmothy, Charles, and Oden; her siblings; Marilyn Boyce, Veryl (Connie) Tisch, and Donnalyn (Jim) Gaines; her special friend, Clerance Sparks; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother in law, Brian Boyce. According to Carolyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Sat, Apr 1, 2017, at ST Jacob Ev Lutheran Church, 12501 Riethmiller Road, Grass Lake, with Pastor Kurt Uhlenbrauck officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at the church cemetery. Arrangements by Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea.
