Carolyn Belcher, 89, passed away Mar 1, 1999, at her home in Mesa, AZ.
She was born Mar 28, 1909, to William and Lena (Bell) Lindow in Newark, NJ.
Carolyn lived most of her life in Michigan and moved to Kalkaska in 1945. She married Claude E. Belcher in May 1946.
She is survived by children Norma Jean Sherman of Mesa, AZ, Shirley (James) Wills of Gladwin, Carol Lyn (Craig) Dudley of Coarsegold, CA, and Claude Edwin (Debra) Belcher Jr of Conway, SC; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were husband Claude; daughter Betty; son Orrin (Bud); three grandsons; one granddaughter; one great great grandson; sisters Bessie and Alma; brothers Bill, George, and Archie; and her parents.
Mrs. Belcher has been cremated and will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
A memorial service will be held at The Peoples Church in Kalkaska on Sat, Jun 5 at 2 pm.
