Mrs. Carolyn Sewell, 47, of 1820 Kilborn Ave, died Wed evening of cancer in Memorial Hospital. She had been ill since May.
Funeral services are to be held at 2pm Mon at the King Funeral Home in Cadillac with burial also to be at Cadillac.
Mrs. Sewell was born Apr 19, 1922 in Owosso to Quenton and Louise Mason. She had worked at a number of places here including Redmond’s and the Pines Restaurant.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur Lee Sewell; six sons, Mark and Donald Rowell, Merton and Quenton Weatherwax, and David and Arthur Sewell, all of Owosso except Merton who is with the US Navy; one daughter, Mrs. Karen Wisely of Owosso; her mother, Mrs. Louise Mason of Owosso; four brothers, Quenton and Jack Mason, both of Owosso, Wayne Mason of Grand Ledge, and Jay Mason with the US Navy; five sisters, Mrs. Barbara Day and Mrs. Donna Garske both of Durand, Mrs. Thelma Tobey of Corunna, Mrs. JoAnn Polhermas of Mecosta, and Mrs. Ruth Tate of Fairgold, AR; and several grandchildren.
