Carl Berch, 81, of Fife Lake, died Wednesday, August 16, 1989, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Berch moved to Fife Lake from Detroit in 1971, following his retirement as a tool and die maker.
He was born in Illinois on May 3, 1908, to Mr. and Mrs. Francis Berch. He was married on March 27, 1963, in Miami Beach, Fla. to Celia Blood who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Carl Berch, Jr. of Ypsilanti, Robert Berch of Utica, and Raymond Berch of Belleville; one step daughter, Linda Gartley of Dallas, Tex.; two brothers, Ted Berch of Port Richey, Fla., and Frank Berch of East Detroit; one sister, Marie Winterberger of Port Richey, Fla; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
No services are planned.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Fife Lake Rescue Squad.
