Burton Rowe, 76, of South Boardman, died Wednesday, July 25, 1990 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Saginaw.
Mr. Rowe served in World War II during the invasion of Africa, and was a member of the American Legion in South Boardman, the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Kalkaska, and the Disabled American Veterans.
Born in Portland, Oregon on August 13, 1913 to James W. and Mary G. (Stadden) Rowe, Mr. Rowe moved to Michigan in 1914 and has resided in South Boardman since 1926. He was employed at Wayne Wire Products before retiring in 1975.
Surviving are three nephews; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Velma Rowe of South Boardman; and a good friend, Gladys Livermore of South Boardman.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 30, 1990 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Rev. Daniel Ingersoll officiated. Burial was at Breed Cemetery in Kalkaska County.
