Mrs. Bonnie S. Thorington, 52, of Bellaire, formerly of Kalkaska, did Sat, Mar 5, 1994, at Traverse City Community Hospital.
Mrs. Thorington resided in Kalkaska until 22 years ago when she moved to Bellaire. She had attended Kalkaska Public Schools, and enjoyed puzzles, cards, and singing.
Born in Kalkaska on Oct 12, 1941, she was the daughter of Charles David and Shirley Richmond McDonald. On Jul 25, 1970, in Rapid City, she was married to Cecil Thorington who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Minnie Schram of Mancelona and Barbara Raymond of Alba; her mother, Shirley McDonald of Ithaca; five brothers, Ronald McDonald of Oregon, Gary McDonald of Ithaca, Steve and Guy McDonald of Traverse City, and Dan McDonald of Palo; three sisters, Sharon McDonald of Bellaire, Kathreen McDonald of Kingsley, and Mary Davis of Traverse City; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and three brothers, Richard, Paul, and Mark McDonald.
Funeral services were held Tue, Mar 8, 1994 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska, Pastor Sam McClellan officiated. Burial will be in Excelsior Township Cemetery in the spring.
