Bonnie Allen of Flint Township, age 54, died Fri, Aug 13, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wed, Aug 18, 2010 at St Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth, Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Bonnie will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, g-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy, Flint Township, where friends may call 5 to 8:30 pm Tue. A Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home 6 pm Tuesday. Bonnie was born in Flint, Dec 29, 1955 and graduated from Carman High School in 1975. Bonnie was a cherished daughter, a beloved sister, and a wonderful mother who selflessly dedicated herself to her children in their time of need. Bonnie had a great joy for life. She loved to laugh and loved to dress in the latest fashion. Bonnie will be greatly missed by her family but we rejoice in knowing that she is in heaven with her grandparents and that her body is at peace in the arms of The Lord. Surviving are: son, Barry Cummings; daughter, KayLeigh Allen; parents, Charles and Dolores Laney of Flint Township; sister, Connie and Thomas Goggins; 2 brothers, Johnny and Ronda Laney and Donald and Victoria Laney; nieces and nephews, Rob and Hather Polovina, Brent Goggins (Sara Culbertson), Courtney and Scott Hubbs, Adrienne and Patrick Kane, Brianna and Brendan Laney; great nephews, Mason Hubbs and Jackson Polovina; special friend, Linda Waider; sister at heart, Martha Alexander.
