Mrs. Blanche Elizabeth Ziegler, 67, of Port Huron, died Sunday, October 10, 2004.
She was born December 27, 1936 in Port Huron to the late Kenneth and Pearl Ludington.
She married Arthur “Tex” Ziegler on August 1, 1974 in Port Huron. He died February 14, 2004.
Mrs. Ziegler formerly attended Sparlingville Baptist Church and most recently attended Life of Faith Fellowship Church. She enjoyed gardening, birds, and dogs. She raised animals and loved the outdoors.
She is survived by four sons, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Elizabeth) Holly, Kevin Steckling, ,Kirk Steckling, all of Port Huron and Mr. and Mrs. John (Zaneta) Klimovich of Kimball Twp; four daughters, Debra Durrant of Pennsylvania, Mr. and Mrs. Shane (Dawn) Brown of St. Helen, Mr. and Mrs. Jon (Dorothy) Nichols of Kimball and Blanche Spencer of Florida; 34 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, MR. and Mrs. Chuck (Linda) Monzo of Port Huron; a brother, Gary Ludington of Hillman; a sister-in-law, Gloria Ludington; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; two brothers, Eugene Ludington and Dewayne Bowers; a sister, Ilene Lester Wilkins.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm until time of funeral service at 6 pm Tue, Oct 12, 2004 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Peck.
