Billie L. Ball, 48, of Kalkaska, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 4, 1989, at her residence.
She had lived in Kalkaska County for the past 15 years, having moved here from Tesax. At the time of her death she was employed by ANR Storage Company in Kalkaska, and was a member of Hospice of Kalkaska County, Inc. She enjoyed painting, antiques, and country decoration.
Mrs. Ball was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 13, 1941, to Orval and Marilyn Weiler Phegley.
Surviving are three sons, Michael, James, and William Ball all of Kalkaska; one daughter, Elizabeth Ball of Kalkaska; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orval Phegley of Stephanville, TX; two brothers, Leonard Phegley and Dean Phegley both of both of Stephanville, TX; one sister, Edith Boothman of Gulfport, FL; and one grandson.
Graveside services were held Friday, Oct 6, 1989, at Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of The Peoples Church, officiated.
