Beverly J Sigmon, 78, of Kalkaska, formerly of Owosso, passed away Thu, Feb 14, 2008.
Beverly worked at Save A Lot in Kalkaska.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Thu, Feb 21, 2008, at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Walworth officaiting. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 8 pm, with the family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.
Beverly was born on Jul 2, 1929, in Alpena, the daughter of Leonel and Mildred (Houck) Prieur.
She was a member of the VFW in Owosso. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, playing Bingo and cards, and going to the casino. In the past, she liked playing golf. She loved being outside and enjoying the scenery of nature.
Survivors include her children, Janis (John) Gallo, Michael (Shelly) Ethier, Donald (Judy) Verdier, Gloria (Larry) DeLaney, Nancy (Jim) Atchison, Linda (Ray) Smith, and Catherine (Paul) Tompor; eighteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchidlren; three and a half great great grandchildren; brother Duane Prieur; and sister, Patricia (Hank) Stone.
She was predeceased by her parents; brother and sister in law, Donald and Joyce Prieur; and nephew, Duane (Sonny) Stone.
