Mrs. Beverly J. Beebe, loving wife, mother, and friend, died Sat, May 17, 1997, at Munson Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Beebe moved to Kalkaska from Lansing in 1946. She was a graduate of Cedar Lake Academy. She was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ and had been a hospice volunteer. She enjoyed her family, friends, golf, bowling, gardening, and crafts.
Mrs. Beebe was born in Lansing on Feb 23, 1931, to Alexander and Rose Keleman Nagy. She married Lloyd Beebe in Traverse City on Feb 23, 1950.
Surviving are her husband Lloyd; son, Michael (Loretta) Beebe of Grand Ledge; daughters Sherry (Doug) Johnson of Gaylord, Terri (Bruce) Veldman of Surrey, England, Vicki Deffendall of Kalkaska, Cynthia (James) Bartlett of Fremont, and Kathryn (Michael) Bartlett of Rochester Hills; sister, Helen (Fred) Kuhn of San Diego, CA; 14 grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Kalkaska Church of Christ. E. Dan Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Memorial gifts may be made to North Country Hospice, Kalkaska Memorial Health Center, or the Kalkaska Church of Christ.
