Beulah Parker, 73. loving wife and mother. passed away Nov. 1. 2002. at Munson Medical Center.

Beulah was born April 6,1929, in Wheeling, W.V., the daughter of Howard and Helen (Warth) Hesson. On April 12, 1947 she married Robert W. Parker in Detroit.

 The couple lived in Detroit, Lincoln Park, Taylor, and Sterling Heights before moving to Kalkaska in 1991 to enjoy their time in northern Michigan. Beulah enjoyed fishing. working on ceramics, flower gardening. and rooting for her beloved Detroit Tigers, but most of all she enjoyed the hours she shared with her family.

Beulah is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert; four children, Alan (Helen) Parker of Acme, Gordon (Chris) Parker of St. Petersburg, Fla., Bruce (Sandi) Parker of Fife Lake, and Beverly (Jeff) Evans of Lincoln Park; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret (Charles) Nexsen, Louise (Paul) Gerek, Joan (Jack) White; and brothers John Hesson, and Sherman (Julie) Hesson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Howard Hesson and William Cunningham; and sister Ada Erickson.

Visitation was held Sunday at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. A funeral service was conducted Nov.4 at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Stark officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery of Kalkaska.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Scenic Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Kalkaska United Methodist Church.
