Betty Lou Wheeler, 49, of 112 Front Street, Fife Lake, died Saturday at Munson Medical Center. 

The daughter of Earl and Iva (Parker) Warren was born at Flint, April 25, 1928. She had live din Fife Lake for the past five years, moving there from Mt. Pleasant where she had lived for 15 years. She was a member of the Fife Lake Methodist Church and the Mt. Pleasant VFW Auxiliary 3033. 

Surviving are her husband, Fay; five daughters, Mrs. James (Janet) Malley, Mrs. James (Sherry) Burke, and Mrs. Jerry (Sandy) Scutt, all of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Jean Finney of Coldwater and Mrs. Roger (Susan) Spalding of  Denver, Colo; a sister, Mrs. Fay (Audrey) Rose of Mesick; and eight grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by two brothers. 

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley with Rev. Lewis Buchner officiating; burial will be at Springfield Township Cemetery, Fife Lake. 

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
