Betty J Gordy, age 72, of Ceresco, died Mon, Jun 12, 2017 at Bronson Battle Creek. Betty was born Feb 6, 1945 in Battle Creek to William and Edna (Jacobs) Silvers and was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek. Betty attended Battle Creek Schools and was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching soap operas, playing on the computer, and visiting the casino.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Luther) Kissinger of Battle Creek, Cathy Gordy of Ceresco, and Anna (Douglas) Snyder of Bellevue and her son, Samuel (Tammy) Gordy of Fall River, WI, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, a sister, Marion (Jackie) Russell of Battle Creek.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel in 2008, an infant daughter, Gale Gordy, a brother, William Silvers, and a sister, Shirley Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 11am to 1 pm Fri, Jun 16th, at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday at the funeral home.
