Bernard "Bernie" B Whipple, 67, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska, passed away on Jul 16, 2005, at his home.
Born on Dec 22, 1937, in Kalkaska, he was the son of the late Burr and Dorothy (McKee) Whipple.
Bernie was a veteran, serving our country in the US Army. He was a press operator for Midwest Forge Division before retiring. Bernie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a "jack of all trades." he would enjoy working on anything mechanical.
Surviving Bernie are his siblings, Arthur Whipple of Peoria, AZ, Patricia Price of WV, Gertrude L Acevedo of Lake City, Shirley M Whipple of Kalkaska, and Frances Brooks of Kalkaska; and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service has taken place at Evergreen Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Wolfe Funeral Home.
