Ben J Wdowicki, 80, of Traverse City, died Sat, Aug 19, 1995, at his residence.
Mr. Wdowicki resided in Kalkaska County for nine years prior to moving to Traverse City. He retired 18 years ago as an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Government. He served as Master Sgt in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and the Korean Conflict.
Born in Greenfield, MA, on Mar 21, 1915, he was the son of Walter and Mary Synus Wdowicki. On Nov 28, 1950, in Staten Island, NY, he was united in marriage with Irma Garrigan. She preceded him in death on Jun 27, 1994.
Surviving are one son, Walter Wdowicki of Traverse City; one brother, Henry Wdowicki of Kalkaska; one sister, Christine Stoneham of Nevada; and other relatives.
One brother, Eddie, and one sister, Wanda preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Thu, Aug, 24, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The Rev. Walter Dreager will officiated. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Military rites under the auspices of Land O'Lakes Post 8684, V.F.W.
