Barbara L. Bates of Hale, passed away November 26, 2012 at 69 years of age.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Roger. Two children, Susan C. Bensinger and Steven P. Bates along with one grandson, Joshua Steven Bates.
Barbara was a member of ST. Paul’s Lutheran Church and a founding member of the Brighton-Livingston Lakes Chapter of the Embroiders Guild of America. She enjoyed cross stitching and had proudly displayed her work at many craft shows.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 407 S. Washington in Hale. The family will receive friends at church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at noon. Rev. Dean Muhle officiating. Burial will take place in Springfield Township. Memorial contributions suggested to a charity of choice. Arrangements handled by the Hale Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home.
