Mrs. B. Marie Berg, 84, a resident of Kalkaska since 1956, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1991, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Berg moved to Kalkaska from Waterford. She was a member of The Peoples Church and Rebekah Lodge No. 54, and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Stars. She enjoyed crocheting.
Mrs. Berg was born in Yale on Jan 18, 1906 to Albert and Lulu Willey Main. She was married on Sept 12, 1924 to Julian Brill who preceded her in death on July 23, 1968. On Aug. 24, 1970, in Kalkaska, she was united in marriage with Clark Berg who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Robert Brill of Waterford; three daughters, Evelyn Edwards of Waterford, Erma Wyers of Hubbard Lake, and Betty Kratt of Twin Lakes; one brother, Eugene Main of Holly; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
One brother, Gordon Main, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 5, 1991, at the Peoples Church, Rev. Paul Karges officiated. Committal services were held on Monday, Jan7, 1991, at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
