Avis M. Goodale, 87, of Williamsburg, died Thu, Dec 30, 1999, at Munson Medical Center.
She was born Dec 15, 1912, in Plymouth, the daughter of Cub and Mary (Powell) Forshee. On Dec 3, 1932, in Belleville, she married Howard Goodale, who preceded her in death on Dec 21, 1992.
Mrs. Goodale moved to Kalkaska from Plymouth in 1971, where she resided until 1993 when she moved to Williamsburg. she enjoyed crocheting, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving are sons Robert (Pauline) Goodale of Traverse City and Ronald (Sandra) Goodale of Kalkaska; daughter Karen (Donald) Roman of Williamsburg; brother Edsel Forshee of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren Michael, Robin, Toby, Robert Jr, Jason, Rebecca, Nicole, Justin, Bonnie, Kevin, Sarah, and Paul; and great grandchildren Alicia, Jessica, Drew, Brie, McKenna, Connor and Daniel.
A daughter Janis and brothers Elton, Vern and Vincent preceded her in death.
Funeral services were Jan 2 at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church; Rev. Douglas Pedersen officiated. Private committal services will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
