Mr. David G. "Rabbi" Watson, Sr., 49, of Kalkaska, died Thu, May 12, 1994 at his residence.
Mr. Watson had been a life long resident of Kalkaska County, and graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1963. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, and hunting.
Born Sep 6, 1944, in Kalkaska County, he was the son of Glenn and Elizabeth Montgomery Watson. On Apr 17, 1982, in Kalkaska County, he married Michelle Aldridge, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, David Jr, at home; four daughters, Jodi Watson of Kalkaska and Tonya Watson of Rapid City, Shawn Martin and Shari Martin, both of Muskegon; one step son, Robert Monnier of Kalkaska; one step daughter, Lisa Holstine of Mancelona; three brothers, Richard, Joseph of Goodrich, and Paul of Pleasant Prairie, WI; two sister, Ruth Young of Waukegan, IL and Hannah Watson of Mason; one grandson, Brandon Watson and one granddaughter, Brianna Watson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert.
Funeral services were held Sat, May 14, 1994, at Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
