Arlyn James Brock, 70, of Traverse City died Saturday at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital following a short illness.
He was born Dec 29, 1907 in Battle Creek and married Mona Butler Dec 15, 1962 in Manton. A resident of Traverse City for many years, Mr. Brock was associated with the maintenance department of Cherry Growers of Traverse City, retiring in 1973 after 39 years of service.
Surviving are his wife: a daughter, Mrs. Sam (Rolene) Barbour of Lansing; a son, Robert of Lansing; his mother, Bertha Logan of Lansing; a half sister, Frone Johnston of Grand Rapids, and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Hibbard Funeral Chapel, 109 Sixth St, Traverse City. The Rev. Morris Osbeck of Manton will officiate.
Burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral chapel tonight from 7 to 9.
