Arlene A. McMichael, of South Boardman, passed away on Mon, Aug 28, 2006, at Bortz Nursing Home in Traverse City.
Born on Jan 6, 1924, in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Henrietta (Bennett) Lear.
Arlene married Paul F McMichael on Jun 17, 1944, in Hamburg. Together, they have been residents of South Boardman since 1972 moving from Dexter.
Arlene was a member of the Kalkaska United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved her family immensely.
Surviving Arlene is her husband Paul, of 63 years; children, Paul R McMichael of South Boardman, Donna Valentine of NC, Linda Magee of Mancelona, and Wendy Wagenschutz of Thomasville, NC; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and her sister, Hazel Alberts of Kalkaska.
The funeral service was held on Fri, Sep 1, at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska, with Pastor Bob Stark officiating from the Kalkaska United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Lodi Cemetery.
