Annette Sue Macomber, 68, a loving mother, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at her home.
Annette was born June 8, 1935, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Laban and Hazel (Roarbacher) Nelson.
Annette lived in Richland, before moving to Kalkaska in 1976. Annette enjoyed traveling, flowers, eating good food, family gatherings, visiting her children, sending and receiving cards and notes, and the crocheting of many afghans. She loved her cat "Star" and cherished the life- long friendships that she had with fellow nursing students.
Annette is survived by her two children, Linda L. (Eric Johnson) Macomber of Truckee, Calif., Gary R. (Gail) Macomber of Cadillac; two grandchildren; and brother, Johnny (Colleen) Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; parents; brother, Mike Nelson; and sister, Marilyn Nelson.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Sun- day, Sept. 28., at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Kalkaska.
